Apple is seeking $3 billion in damages

After the jury's verdict in August it was speculated that Apple wants to push the jury's ruling further to increase the amount of fine and to have a large number of Samsung devices banned.
Korean Times has reported that Apple is planning to seek $3 billion in damages, tripling the amount that has been awarded already.
The report states that it has been informed by multiple legal sources.
Apple wants to address the damage that Samsung had caused and is trying to take full advantage of the verdict.
Apple may be planning for a better deal on tomorrow's hearing, and Samsung is hoping to convince the jurors to overturn the ruling.
But even if it doesn't do so, Samsung will be appealing the ruling and total amount of fine have to be paid eventually.
