Innovega is developing augmented reality contact lenses

The future of AR is not foucused on a pair of glasses, nor on a smartphone's screen, it's on contact lenses.

Innovega is working on a contact lenses named iOptic, which will provide a crucial step needed to perceive a superimposed, augmented 3D virtual reality.

The lenses can also improve your vision just as you are seeing normally. By using nanotechnology, the lenses are allowing the user to see information from the web and reality.

With the lenses users can view the world normally, as their eyes can move naturally and there are no clunky goggles.

For external hardware used to project extra data, users are provided with glasses.

But the lenses are essential, without them, the information sent to the glasses is messy. The lenses are collecting and refining the augmented information.

The lenses provides a complete field of vision and this innovation is separating Innovega from their rivals, as many of those products are requiring glasses to clarify the images.

Innovega's huge advantage is their plan to maintain the commanding apparatus, which is often slowing down the emerging technology.

The iOptic lenses can change the way people integrate technologies into their lives.
