Apple has stated in court that Samsung owes the company over $2.5 billion of damages for infringing patents on tablets and smartphones.
Apple claims that Samsung has violated its patents by developing the Galaxy line tablets and smartphones to look and work like Apple's products.
Apple states that the reason the Samsung's look could overtake the world's largest smartphone market is because they have copied them.
Samsung, on the other hand, are stating that it has created its own unique products.
The company also added that Apple is using their technology in the iPhone, but it did not pay for it.
Apple is accused of trying to use a trademark and patents to avoid competition with rivals.
Samsung responded with a filing accusing Apple of trying to limit customer choice and legitimate competition to keep its profits.
Apple is stating that it is owed $24 per device for its trade dress rights and design patent, $3 for scrolling related technology, $2 for tap to zoom patent and $2 for a patent that tells the users when they've reached the bottom of the screen.
