A campaign for the new Samsung camera in South Korea have made a funny use of QR Codes. In a modish part of Seoul a whole army of photographers have descending on innocent shoppers and acted as they've discovered a celebrity. After that they slap a QR Code sticker on the shopper and disappear the same way as they arrived (video below).
When the victim scans the QR Code it directs to a mobile website with their picture overlayed on a magazine cover. The pictures are also uploaded in a Facebook page where people are asked to vote, so the person on the image can have the chance to win a free Samsung NX200 camera.
