Google has become smarter

Today Google launched an interesting and ambitious update to its search engine.
It will go live in a few days and you'll be able to see large panels over the right side of Google’s result pages with factual information about the specific topic you were searching for.
Google called the panels "Knowledge Graph" and they have two different functions – Google will use the space to provide a summary information about your search – biographical, buildings, art, animals etc. and a list of related topics.
Now Google will allow the user to clarify what exactly they are looking for and will use the space for for disambiguation.
Google has been working on the technology that provides the "Knowledge Graph" for several years. This project has been in development for the last 2 years and the company has been working very hard on creating an enormous database of organized knowledge.
The database currently contains information about over 450 million places, people and things in general. And more importantly – it indicates over 3 billion connections and define attributes between these items.
